Very ancient people, but recently with lots of help from google, wiki, and baike, I could dig abundant information about China's Three Kingdoms era, including those famous characters in the novel.
Lu Xun
Came from prominent family, started his service under Sun Quan around 21 yrs old, married to Sun Ce's daughter (she was so not important, very ordinary, no interesting at all so perfectly none written about her), had two sons. From merely "clerical officer" became grand viceroy, later known for the one who caused Guan Yu's death (if I were Sun Quan I would clearly instruct my subordinates to throw him into jail and asked for many many gold, land, people, from Shu XD) .
Was said death of stress and agitation, since Sun Quan no longer trust him (I hate you Sun Quan!).
Read his short biography at Wiki or fans translated text.
Gosh I wish could understand Chinese ... from Baike
Some artists from qing dynasty tried to paint him, presumably close to the reality.
And here our KOEI's artwork nowadays ...
Sounds stupid but if only in the past camera had already invented. The problem is, there's nothing left during Three Kingdoms era for each generals' picture.
Used to love Wu over Shu and Wei (Jin excluded). But now I rather dislike Sun Quan for his mistrust to Lu Xun, even thou it's said he kinda regret it later.
Negative issues :
Was said ever did a raid / caused death of civilians just because to save himself from Cao Wei's army.
Whether you read the historical biography or the novel, it seems he was also a person who often praised people with ulterior motives. Don't know, may be only my opinion, but somehow I think it's a retributrion he should pay where Sun Quan mistrusted him and demoted him. Ha ha~
Poor fella .... hate his ending version :(
