Inner Palace : Zhen Huan Legend
I watched this drama because Sun Li was there. 76 episodes might boring enough but somehow the storyline episode by episode was quite interesting. The pure Zhen Huan developed into cold and powerful Empress Dowager.
Costumes great, actresses great, it's just i cant get it why they dont put someone more handsome as Yong Zheng (the emperor). Sorry, but you know what I mean. Stuck close to the reality, please dont. Most K-Dramas put unrealistic face and age for the king but they hit the market.
But overall this one is worth watching. Developed from a novel, they adapt it into situation as most likely to Yong Zheng's era.
OST is quite good, very ancient, sad, weak, but beautiful and peaceful, despite its poetical lyric.
It seems that those ladies in the palace aka. queen and concubines didnt really had much to do so they just wasting time thinking about schemes and suchs to steal emperor's heart, including trying to survive. What a life in there. But the interesting point is, it seems in reality we are also facing such stressful moments in work, business, etc.
