this story is about lin who fell in love with his classmate zhou. they promised to enter university in usa together, but the girl failed and never join her boyfriend to usa. so lin waited for her for 10 years, which made their separated ways more distant.
eventually she married her other classmate, who a daydreamer pathetic fella turn to be somehow rich businessman, leaving lin who used to be a smart and bright guy turn into ordinary middle class working man.
... i cant really describe my feeling after watching this movie. this is totally different from my thought. the beginning of the movie is quite funny, i thought at least they would have a sweet ending, but in the end it is totally messed up. really...life is filled with bitterness, why they made the same kind of movie like this ???. XD
