the following numbers (years, age), are mostly estimation only, based on several occurences in history, not meant to give any professional review at all. purely fanmade.
lady sun of lu xun
birth : 196-198
- since it's stated around 198 sun ce married da qiao and himself died at 25, there's a dispute whether 4 of his children were da qiao's born
- so thou it's not written in historical records, it's possible sun ce got another wife than da qiao, or exact marriage to da qiao was before 198, or she had twins.
- therefore to give a wider possibility, lady sun of lu xun might be born around 196-198 (when sun ce was 21-23 years old).
- thou sun ce died in 200, but it seemed more people tend to refer sun shao was the youngest of sun ce's children, therefore lady sun of lu xun should be born before 200.
- history also mentioned, gu shao (gu yong's son) and zhu ji (zhu zhi's son), was also married to sun ce's daughter. we all knew that the family of lu, gu, and zhu were important in wu. sun ce seemed had prepared everything ... hehe.
marriage : 205-208
- it was said in lu xun's early 20s, after showing his success eliminating bandits and dealing with famine, in addition to secure the the bond between lu and sun family, sun quan betrothed sun ce's daughter. therefore their marriage might take time between 205-208 (lu xun was 22-25 years old and lady sun of lu xun was 7-12 years old). their age gap might about 13-15 years.
- lu xun himself was from prominent lu family, he was acting like the head of the family since he was the oldest. thou this might be slightly be reason why he got married bit late, until being recognized by sun quan.
- during its era, it's normal betrothal took place when the girl was at very young age
* battle of red cliff was around 209.
first son : around 215 (when lady sun of lu xun was 17-19 years old, lu xun was around 32)
- died at infant (or at least, not reaching his adulthood yet)
(as for example, zhang chunhua married sima yi when she was 13 and he was 23, she bore sima shi when she was about 19)
* battle of jing province was took place in 219-220, the preparation started since 215
* battle of xiao ting in 222
after his first son death, it seemed lu xun involved actively in war campaigns. it's unknown if he took his family with him or not, but usually no. because most of the generals when got sick would return to jian ye or their hometown, then lu xun's family should be in jian ye as well.
second son : 226 (lu xun was 43, lady sun of lu xun was 28-30 years old)
since year 228, lu xun's career rocketed significantly.
they might have other children that were unrecorded in history, but based on lu xun's biography, if there was any, it should be at least mentioned. there. it seemed lu xun was such a workholic person that keep his private life low.
death : around 260
lu xun died in 245, at 62 years old. at that time it was said he was dead of frustration to sun quan who mistrusted him. he didn't have much wealth left to his family.
she might die at her 60s.
wait a minute ... he didn't have much wealth left for his family ?
giving such high status in wu kingdom, usually a person would become wealthy and had concubines (sima yi did it, he got concubines).
but how come lu xun didn't ?
perhaps that's right, he's such a workaholic person, idealistic, a nerdy and such.
after lu kang's birth, it seemed he thought he got heir already, therefore he would just need to foucs continuing his so called dedication to wu.

but, yeah, ended quite dissapointing. that's why i dislike sun quan.

the history said lu kang had at least 6 famous sons.
- lu yan, birth and death year unknown
- lu jing, birth 249, death 280
- lu xuan, birth and death year unknown
- lu ji birth 261, death 303
- lu yun birth 262, death 303
- lu dan, birth unknown, death 303
in 253, zhuge ke was killed by sun jun due to internal conflicts. all zhuge's clan was executed, along with their relatives.
lu kang wife was lady zhang, daughter of zhang cheng, grand daughter of zhang zhao, was also exiled.
it was said lu jing, 4 years old at that time, was raised by lady sun of lu xun. lu jing was very grateful, therefore when lady sun of lu xun passed away, he mourned for three years. we could say that lady sun of lu xun at leased had raised lu jing for several years more, until lu jing became somewhat a teenager, leaving him a deep grief for her death.

- his wife lady zhang was exiled on 253, so lu xuan, lu ji, lu yun, and lu dan might be born from his second wife or concubine. there's no record lady zhang was granted amnesty and returned to his husband later.
- his second son lu jing was born on 249, by that time lu kang was 23 years old. his first son lu yan might be born in 247 or 248.
- giving a span between lu jing's birth 249 and lu ji's birth in 261, it's possible lu xuan was born in 259-260, after lu kang re-married at his 30s.
(sorry, it's just me who comparing "the exiled wife" condition of lu kang and jia chong)~

this writing was also to clarify from my perspective that lu xun had no any relationship with sun shangxiang like the shippers said.
since it's not a taboo if lu xun was truly had shangxiang as his wife or concubine, historians should at least mentioned it. but the fact they didn't, because it never happens.
