Skincare I'm Using Right Now... (Part 3)

1. Viva Cleansing Milk Green Tea

Some "beauty experts" claimed that no matter how a cleansing foam said could remove your traces of make up, still, the best way to completely clear them is by using two step-cleansing milk and toner.
I believe this, because ever since I cleanse my makeup using milk and toner, combined with several anti-acne products, my face doesn't suffer breakout anymore. Pimples still pop up but no longer as many as before.
Sadly, most cleasning milk products, whatever brands, contain Parabens, or BHA/BHT.
It was said 'the safest' form of Parabetn is Methylparaben while the worst is Propylpraraben. Still, Paraben itself is unsafe so there should be no such word as 'safest Paraben'. Sorry.

2. Viva Toner Green Tea

What should do ? I used to use this both products everyday to cleanse my make up but start from yesterday avoided using them. The toner also contains Methylparaben. Hopefully could really find a good cleanser that truly safe for skin.

3. Etude House Baking Powder BB Deep Cleansing Foam

This one said especially made for cleaning BB Cream. Actually this could clean your skin without making it dry, it contains soft scrubs so avoid using it if you have a wound or severe acne.
Baking powder was said very effective to clean pores, therefore Etude House add this component into their Baking Powder line.
It has citrus smell at the beginning, but later use when it reached 1/2 tube the citrus sensation smell is missing, he he he ... may be they add only a little citrus oil.
And yes, it's Paraben free, BHA/BHT free.

4. Innisfree Anti Trouble Jejubija Cleansing Foam

Is it me or what because I think Bija seeds somehow smell like Pine tree aroma ? Anyway this product is also good, cleans face without making it dry. Innisfree is one of the skincare products from South Korea that very seldom (almost never) use Parabens and BHA/BHT in their products.

Skincare I am Using Right Now .... (Part 2)

Laneige Essential Care Trial Set - Moisture

Bought it from my friend, she recommended this to me said this is a good product from Laneige to ensure your skin bright and clean. I might repurchase it, if fail to find better (but cheaper) ones...

1. Laneige Multi Cleanser

Said it could remove all make ups and dirt on your face. I just bought other brands (Innisfree and Etude House) so won't buy Laneige Multi Cleanser full size yet. Good news is, it seems the ingredients list is safe from 'Endocrine Disruptive Agents'... thou of course, all chemicals could potentially rise a rsik to be carcinogen.

2. Laneige Power Essential Skin Refiner Moisture

I used this every night before bedtime, alternate it with sleeping pack. So far don't feel any differences, but since already bought it and it doesn't cause breakout on my face so I keep using them.

3.  Laneige Balancing Emulsion Moisture

This one used soon after using the skin refirner. Also seems free from Parabens and BHA/BHT.

4.  Laneige Water Bank Essence

The trial kit comes with a handy pump bottle, really easy to use and stay it clean. Several years ago, I read on CosDNA site and some blogs that this product contained Parabems. But later may be Laneige substitute it with other chemicals or remove them therefore now the list doesn't list Parabens. May be this means this product is pretty safe.

5. Laneige Water Bank Moisture Cream

I don't like using cream so this one never tested on my skin, may be later... the ingredients also seems parabens and BHA/BHT free.

6. Laneige Water Sleeping Pack EX

This one is said to be Laneige's best seller, not only in Korea but all over the world. Mouth-to-mouth marketing is really works. I do feel my skin moist and relaxed using this sleeping pack in the morning after applying it bedtime. Like other Laneige products, this brand also seldom use Parabens and BHT/BHA in their products, either they alternate the name to avoid our suspicion or merely substitute it with safer chemicals.

So far, I think most Koreean products seldom use BHA/BHT and Parabens in their products, but Japanese products might use such chemicals more often. Indonesian products also filled with those kind of chemicals...

Skincare I am Using Right Now ...(Part 1)

Related to my previous post before about Xenoestrogen, so lately I've been extremely weary on my skincares ingredients.

1. Dr. Jart+ V7 Vitalaser 2.1 Cream

To be honest this cream is doing pretty well to give you a bright skin, remove redness, and of course, prevent acne. Thou there was a mention that this cream doesn't actually 'prevent' acne, but only hide it within skin.
Anyway, despite its expensive price (IDR600K-800K), I actually purchased this three times and satisfy with the result. Unfortunately this contains BHT.

2. Innisfree Anti Trouble Jejubija Skin (Toner)

Love this toner, doesn't dry up your skin yet help to control breakout. I use this before applying make ups. This toner seems pretty safe from 'Endocrine Disruptive Agents' ...

3. Innisfree Anti Trouble BB Cream

Almost all Innisfree products are Parabens and BHT/BHA free. Not sure if other chemicals they used are also Xenoestrogen, but so far they are seemed not.
This BB Cream was said especially made for acne prone skin, so I am using this for almost two years. Pimples still pop up but no longer 'mushrooming' like it has used to. Of course this product not solely responsible for preventing my breakout, many factors must be combined to overcome acne.
